Trees by the Wensum Lodge

That’s from a photo I took the other day for a local website. Those Weeping Willow trees by the Wensum Lodge looked a treat – I thought they were a good choice to showcase one of Fakenham’s prettiest views. But look at the same trees now…

Perhaps they had to chop them down to sell the wood to pay for the fines they keep getting for their grotty kitchens! What a shame they were so pretty.
It was only one fine, wasn’t it?
not sure, perhaps someone could ask them and also while they are at it ask them about the poor trees
I drove past the day after the Chainsaw Massacre and was shocked! An attractive spot in Fakenham now totally ruined. Heads must roll. Council are investigating! Conservation area, no planning permission…. you get the story so far? If this were Henley-on-Thames or Stratford would this happen?! Nope. Tree lovers ring North Norfolk Council and voice your opinion pronto!
