I seem to remember some previous plans for an entertainment outlet in that particular premises :) I reckon it'd be a good spot, although other local pub owners may not relish the prospect. Regardless of wether people would want a large chain people have to remember that such a chain would bring jobs to the town, not to mention the fact that it could be filling one of the many empty premises in the town. I'm not sure Fakenham would benefit from such a big chain like Wetherspoons but I suppose it opens up jobs. I know that I'd still frequent the smaller independent places but maybe not everyone would?
