<description>Well this awful weather goes on and I think it brings out the worst in people. So many say that they see gritting lorries driving round but not spreading. So many say that ploughs drive around with the blade set at a minimum 8 inches from the road surface.

How can people so freely malign our hard working council employees? Why just over the Christmas week alone they struggled ceaselessly, nay, valiantly to deliver in that week almost a ton thats right a whole ton of salt onto Norfolks road system. I have to say this was done at great risk, not only to the crews themselves but also risk of wear and tear on the lorries.

Perhaps in future we should all be a little more charitable to those who take but mere millions a year in council tax for just this very purpose. After all, mere millions buy very little salt.
